The Dangerous Substances and Explosive Atmospheres Regulations (DSEAR)
2002 came into force on the 30th June 2003. (example signs to right)
The DSEAR applies to all dangerous substances, in all
businesses with risks from fire or explosions from these substances
being used in potentially explosive atmospheres.
As dangerous substances can be found in most workplaces, it is essential
that all employers and the self employed comply with this regulation.
Use the signs shown to the right to warn of all potentially explosive situations.
